How This Cider is Made
In addition to 8 months of fermentation, we aged the cider for 2.5 years on the cranberries before bottling it. This exceptionally long process is apparent in the fragrance, flavor and color of this cider. The cranberries are sourced locally in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
Sippin’ Tips
This cider is light red, carrying the color of the cranberries, and is meant to be served on ice or just icy cold. It was designed as a fall or winter cider but is delightfully refreshing anytime of year. The fragrance is light with cranberry and apple, while the cider itself is very tart, complimenting the already dry cider to make this our driest offering. The cider is exceptionally dry and intense, with complex apple cider flavors before the cranberry taste. This pairs well with poultry, fish and vegan dishes. However, it stands well on its own.
